Hey, my besties!

I’ve been meaning to highlight this lovely spot in Georgetown for a while, and today’s the day! It’s become one of my go-to places to chill and enjoy a bite. It’s called Lyla’s House, and I’ve been obsessed with it.

The Vibe

The vibe at Lyla’s is just everything. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Think comfy corners, soft lighting, cute decor, and a general feeling of calm. It’s clear that this is a place created with a lot of love.

Exploring Further Inside

This area is arranged like a stylish living room and includes a smaller seating arrangement. Surrounding it are shelves displaying items—everything from mugs and vases to books and small sculptural pieces.

The Menu: Coffee, Bites, and After Hours

Lyla’s House offers a delightful variety of coffee, teas, and lattes, including all the classics like cappuccinos and macchiatos.

My go-to is their Mocha Latte (peep the pic!). It’s the perfect blend of chocolatey goodness and an espresso shot that hits the spot every time.

If you’re looking for something a little extra, their Bailey’s Latte is a great choice.

But it’s not just about the coffee. They also have a great food menu with sandwiches, toasts, and bagels. You can’t go wrong with their Avocado Toast. Its so fresh and satisfying.

Check out their display case—everything looks so good! Lyla’s offers a variety of pastries, including croissants, scones, and other delightful treats.

I’m a huge fan of their almond croissants, which are always flaky, buttery, and delicious.

And here’s the fun part: it’s not just a cafe. On Fridays, Lyla’s turns into a total vibe with After Hours. Think: cocktails, wines, and charcuterie boards. It’s the perfect way to wind down the week.

Extra Stuff: Shopping (The Pantry)

Lyla’s House truly stands out with its “Pantry.” This area has a self-serve wine stand. You can explore a selection of reds and whites at your own pace. It’s a fun way to discover a new favorite bottle.

Beyond the wine, the pantry also features a retail section stocked with unique finds. From branded merch, like super cute tote bags and T-shirts. You can also find cool wellness products and drink syrups.

Lyla’s House is a true gem. It’s perfect for a coffee date, catching up with friends, or just enjoying a change of scenery.
